With nearly as many website builders and content management systems (CMS) as there are web hosting companies, creating an online platform has never been easier. But therein lies the issue that many new bloggers and businesses are now facing.
There are more than 7.5 billion people on the planet at any given time, with more than half of them online. This means that, with the exception of those who do not have internet access (or are too young or too old to use it), almost everyone has some sort of online presence. Many people’s online presence is limited to social media accounts and a few subscriptions, but there are still billions of business websites and personal blogs.
Backlinks are most likely one of the most important SEO factors, if not the most important. Unfortunately, they are also high on the list of SEO metrics over which you have little control—but we'll get to that in a moment.
Simply put, a backlink is an external link that redirects users’ attention from one website to another. You should certainly include some backlinks in your content, but more importantly, you should include backlinks that act as an incoming redirection. In other words, you want other sites and pages to link back to yours.
Backlinks are important for SEO because they tell Google that another resource values your content enough to link to it from their own. As a website receives more backlinks, search engines deduce that the website has valuable content worthy of ranking high in the SERPs.
While each backlink is theoretically a vote of confidence in your site, links from reputable, high-authority sites are the best. They inform search engines that your content has been endorsed by a credible authority. Even a no-follow link from a reputable website can help your ranking.
On the other end of the spectrum, links from low-authority or'spammy' sites may be detrimental to your ranking. Toxic backlinks may not only harm your ranking, but may also result in search engine penalties.
Yes, having all of the wonderful high-rated dofollow backlinks for your own SEO success is fantastic, but it won't help you if no search engine robot or crawler notices them. You must use social media and social bookmarking to spread the news. It will take a long time to get indexed without a link building plan and the means to promote that strategy.
Let’s see how to create a free backlink in Instapaper.com (DR 82 /DoFollow)
1. Register for a free account at Instapaper.com.
Go to the CREATE AN ACCOUNT button in the centre of the https://www.instapaper.com/ homepage.
You're in as soon as you click CREATE ACCOUNT. You are not required to respond to a verification email.
Please keep in mind that some email domains are blocked by Instapaper, so you may need to use a different email address from another freemail provider.
Navigate to the upper right corner of the DASHBOARD and select SETTINGS from the MENU.
You can also change the colour of your Instapaper profile here if you want, but it's not required.
3. There are four things to check and change on the following page:
We're now ready to build new dofollow backlinks to Instapaper.com. 🎉
To return to your profile, click the Instapaper logo in the upper left corner. Click ADD LINK in the upper right corner. Enter the URL you want to post and press ADD.
The system will need a few seconds to gather all of the information behind the link. Use this opportunity to LIKE YOUR POST by clicking the heart icon. Please keep in mind that only if you like your link will it appear on your Instapaper profile.
Now is the time to post every link you want to promote on this awesome social bookmarking platform. It will soon assist your backlinks in being indexed faster by Google and all other search engines. You can also use the Instapaper app on your smartphone if you prefer:
https://www.instapaper.com/iphone
https://www.instapaper.com/android
Of course, you must also share and publish this new link in order for it to be indexed quickly. All other existing Social Media Channels with outgoing dofollow links will be beneficial as well. However, in the following chapter of my link building tutorial, I will show you a lot more free landing pages and profiles where you can publish them with a lot more linkjuice. Please be patient; because this link is already extremely popular, it may take some time to be indexed by Google or Ahrefs.
In coming posts, I will share how to create backlinks via lasso.net, protopage.com, AllMyFaves.com, start.me, diigo.com, linktree, and telegram.
